Wazoo Sports Partners with the Louisville Bats
April 2010—Wazoo Sports has reached an agreement with the
Louisville Bats, a Cincinnati Reds Triple A team, to broadcast all Bats home
games in 2010 on the Wazoo Sports Network.

Fund Manager Moncrief Participates in Roundtable Discussion
with U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geithner
February 2010—Meritus Ventures Fund Manager, Ray Moncrief,
participated in a roundtable discussion at Research Triangle Park that on
the need for continued support of community development capital programs that
focus on small business development and underserved communities.
The round table was held by U.S. Secretary of the Treasury
Timothy Geithner, and it included U.S. Representatives David Price (NC-4) and Brad

Fund Manager Vanderhoofven Speaks to Business &
Technology Leaders on Venture Capital in the Region
|February 2010—Meritus Ventures Fund Manager, Grady
Vanderhoofven, was the guest speaker at the February meeting of the Innovation
Valley Technology Council. Mr. Vanderhoofven presented an outstanding summary
of venture capital in the state of Tennessee relative to venture capital hot
spots across the country and in the southeastern U.S.
Vanderhoofven’s presentation included statistics that show the economic impact
of venture backed companies on job creation and wealth creation for a host

Fund Manager Moncrief Testifies Before Congress on Benefit
of Community Development Capital Programs

Moncrief, testified before the House Committee on Financial Services on the
importance and role of Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs).
Also testifying were Ms. Donna Gambrel, Director of the CDFI Program, and The
Honorable Michael Barr, Assistant Secretary of Domestic Finance, U.S.
